Susan Hohman has been a part of the gallery’s story since nearly the beginning–joining the team way back in 1998. With a BFA in Fine Art from Messiah University and additional studies at Hussian School of Art, Tyler and Temple University, she brings both formal training and real-world experience to the table.  She’s also a Certified Picture Framer (CPF), which means she knows exactly how to make artwork shine on the walls.

But Susan isn’t just behind the scenes– she’s an award-winning artist herself.  When she’s not curating exhibitions or working with artists, you’ll find her elbow-deep in collage, mixed media, encaustic, and cold wax & oil paintings in her buzzing home studio.

And then there’s the other side of her studio where things get a little wild.  That’s where her voiceover booth lives – where Sue brings to life everything from Unicorns and mob boss fairies to eccentric grandmas for podcasts, animation and video.

Above all, Susan believes in the power of collaboration and what can happen when artists are given the space and support to grow.  At efab gallery, she helps provide that strong trusted platform — a place where artists can shine their creative souls, connect with new audiences, and know their work is in passionate, capable hands.

With decades of experience, a deep love for the arts, and a creative spirit that’s in hyperdrive, Sue is someone artists can trust, collaborate with, and count on.  She gets what it means to create–and she’s here to help make the whole process smoother, bolder and a lot more fun.
